Positioning a technology client as a thought leader in the business space
Citrix – an H+K technology client that focuses on securing, mobilising, and optimising app and data delivery – is well known by the SA tech media. However, the company also wanted to be profiled as a thought leader in business publications.
Using our insights into the current business media landscape, H+K suggested that Citrix commission a study to investigate whether South African companies were prepared for the eventuality of digitisation. The results of the survey, which we shared with business journalists, indicated a sense of complacency within the South African business community regarding investment in progressive technologies.
H+K were able to get the media to successfully link digital readiness to the services offered by Citrix. We proved, undeniably, that Citrix technologies do indeed make business sense, removing previous scepticism and linking company success to global technological equality. The survey attracted key top tier business media interviews, including SABC 3 News, CNBC Africa and Business Day. This campaign received a Certificate of Excellence in the 2017 SABRE Africa Awards.
